aqeel - Sell First, Pay Later

Aqeel is a U.S.-based fintech startup building a cash flow operating system for American small and medium businesses, with a strong focus on manufacturers, construction companies, logistics, and fuel suppliers.

The goal of the project was to design a clear, trustworthy, and scalable website that could explain a complex financial product to a non-digital-native audience — business owners who value speed, clarity, and reliability over visual noise.

Working closely with the founding team, I designed a modular website system that balances strong visual identity with usability, helping Aqeel communicate its value proposition clearly while supporting future growth.

Process & outcome
The project covered website design, visual direction, and UI components, including homepage, product pages, investor-facing sections, and contact flows.

Key focus areas included:

• Clear information hierarchy and reduced cognitive load
• A consistent design system aligned with fintech trust standards
• Strong contrast, typography-driven layouts, and scalable components
• Different target colors for Sellers / Buyers / Investors
• Visual onboarding representations to support product understanding
• Responsive design

The final result is a clean, modern, and professional website that reflects Aqeel’s U.S. market positioning and provides a solid foundation for future product and platform design work.
